Strengthening of the door boards is necessary. It also takes care of having a flat surface that is easy to seal, and the finished boards to seal the door. To make everything fit right I made stencils out of paper. The maximum thickness of the MDF boards must not be more than 9mm otherwise the door boards don't fit right. All parts are designed the way that they can be attached by using original screw holes. It is not necessary to drill holes in the holy tin. Only one edge of the tin has to be bent a little bit otherwise it is not possible to center the woofer on the flat part of the door board. I have chosen the lit of the fuse box as the place for the tweeter because I couldn't find a good location in the door. Drilling a hole into the leather was not acceptable and every other place would require ears on the calves. The installation of the tweeter in the lit solves this problem; the sound has from both sides, a straight free way to the driver’s ear even if you carry a passenger. There was only one problem. Any disadvantage in function of the lit was not acceptable and the lit hanging on tweeter wires would be one. So I had to think about something to take of the lit without that the wirers hang on it.
The
plastic pin of the lit has to get a slot in the middle ant get an inlet out
off copper.
